This event will be fun for all ages! On Saturday, April 20th at 3:00pm, join us at the grounds by the pool for finger painting crafts, an Easter Egg Hunt by age group and yummy Easter treats. We will be using washable finger paint, but participants may want to bring an old t-shirt to wear over their clothes for this activity. Then the egg hunt will be divided up by the following age groups to allow everyone to participate: 3 and under, 4-8, and 9+. Remember to bring your Easter baskets! We will enjoy treats and social time after the egg hunt. There will also be a special visitor: the Easter Bunny!
We would love to see the community to come together and make this a special day for all. If there are teens/tweens who would be interested in helping the Easter Bunny hide eggs, we would really appreciate it! Egg hiding will begin around 1:30pm on Saturday, April 20th. If you are interested in helping us prepare for this event, join us on April 8th at 7:00pm at Kathy Baudier’s house (50 Doverdale Road). We will be putting together the keepsake craft projects and we could use some help with the prep work.
Neighbors who are willing to contribute individually wrapped snacks (Easter snack cakes, etc) would be greatly appreciated! Also, we ask your help with plastic eggs. For each of your participating kids, we ask that you bring 12 filled, plastic eggs to Kathy Baudier’s house by Monday, April 15th. Anyone else in the neighborhood may contribute filled plastic eggs as well. This will help ensure that we have plenty of eggs for everyone.
Let’s join together to celebrate Easter and host a fun event for the kids in our community! Even if you do not have young children, you are a part of this neighborhood and can help make this a special day. There are lots of fun things happening in Brookfield!… Come join us!!
